Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
Football IQ does not require you to create an account, provide a name, or supply an email address. You can use all core features of the app without providing any personal information.
Automatically collected information
When you use the app, certain technical and usage data may be collected automatically by third-party services we use for analytics and advertising purposes. This may include:
- Device identifiers, including advertising IDs (such as IDFA on iOS or GAID on Android)
- App interaction data (e.g. screens viewed, features used, session duration)
- Device type, operating system version, and general locale
- Aggregated performance and crash data
This information does not identify you by name, and we do not link it to any personal account.
Advertising & Analytics
We use third-party services, including Meta (Facebook), to analyse app usage and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
These services may collect information such as device identifiers (including advertising IDs) and interaction data within the app. This data is used for:
- Analytics — understanding how users interact with the app, identifying areas for improvement, and monitoring overall app performance.
- Advertising and marketing — measuring ad performance, attributing installs to campaigns, and improving the relevance of ads shown to potential users on Meta platforms.
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or any other third party.
Opting out: You can limit ad tracking or reset your advertising ID at any time through your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → opt out of ads personalisation or reset your advertising ID
For more information on how Meta uses data, please review Meta's Privacy Policy.
How We Use Information
The limited data we collect or receive from third-party services is used solely to:
- Understand how the app is used so we can improve features and fix bugs
- Measure the reach and effectiveness of our advertising campaigns
- Ensure the app operates correctly across different devices and operating systems
We do not use this data to build personal profiles, and we do not combine it with any personally identifiable information.
Local Data Storage
All of your in-app training data — including your Football IQ scores, drill history, training streaks, and preferences — is stored entirely on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
Because this data is device-local, it will be permanently deleted if you uninstall the app. We are unable to recover it for you. We recommend keeping the app installed if you wish to preserve your progress.
Children's Privacy
Football IQ does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). Because no account or personal information is required to use the app, it is designed to be safe for players of all ages.
If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns about your child's use of the app or the advertising measurement data described above, you can disable ad tracking on their device using the steps outlined in the Advertising & Analytics section above.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information in any way, please contact us at profilesleetcode@gmail.com and we will take prompt steps to address it.
Third-Party Services & Links
The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy applies only to Football IQ. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the privacy practices of any third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before interacting with them.
Third-party services currently used by Football IQ include:
- Meta (Facebook) — analytics and advertising measurement. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
Training data stored locally on your device is retained until you uninstall the app or clear its data manually.
Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data collected by third-party services is retained according to their own data retention policies. We do not independently store this data on our own servers.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Since Football IQ does not collect or store personal data on our own servers, there is generally nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete.
For data held by third-party services such as Meta, please contact those services directly or consult their privacy policies to exercise your rights.
If you have any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at profilesleetcode@gmail.com.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, our practices, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of Football IQ after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
